The NITON XRF Analyzer Overview The NITON XL3 Analyzer is a single unit, hand held, high performance portable x-ray fluorescence (XRF) elemental analyzer. The Thermo Scientific NITON XL3t 900 Series is our second generation, high-performance, truly nondestructive handheld analyzer for light element analysis in alloy material. It provides fast, laboratory-quality chemical analysis of aluminum and titanium alloys, as well as nickel alloys, superalloys, stainless steels, and more.

The Thermo Scientific Niton XL3t analyzer combines advanced electronics and materials technology with dynamic features and the most versatile x-ray tubes ever used in a handheld XRF instrument. When this power is harnessed to our groundbreaking GOLDD+™ technology, it takes your analytical capabilities to a whole new level. The direct benefits to you include: real-time results, advanced light element analysis, and ultimate performance in our robust, proven design.

From their extraordinary speed and precision to the integrated, tilting, color, touch-screen display and the customizable menus for ease of use, ergonomic Niton® XL3t GOLDD+ analyzers are lightweight, ruggedly constructed, and fast. GOLDD technology delivers vast improvements in sensitivity or measurement times – as much as 10-times faster than conventional Si-PIN detectors, and up to 3-times more precise than conventional silicon drift detectors (SDD).

Thermo Scientific Niton Analyzers, founded more than 20 years ago, is the world’s leading producer of Niton hand-held x-ray fluorescence analyzers (XRF), with over 30,000 units installed worldwide. Free pcb design software download.

Due to a culture of innovation and a history of distinguished breakthrough achievements, Thermo Fisher Scientific’s XRF machines have become the world-leader in it’s class. Since the introduction of the first Niton hand-held XRF analyzer in 1994, the company has shown the world many “firsts” in the field, including but not limited to:

1) First use of miniaturized x-ray tubes in a one-piece hand-held XRF analyzer

2) First and only isotope-based hand-held XRF analyzer that never requires source replacement

A workaround for this if you are unable to change the permissions of the containing folder is to copy the file out, edit it, then copy it back over the top of the existing file.

3) First hand-held XRF analyzer equipped with He purge for direct analysis of Mg, Al, Si, P and S in metal alloys

4) First hand-held small-spot XRF analyzer

5) First and only hand-held XRF analyzer to feature a 50kV x-ray tube.

6) First SDD analyser capable of detecting light elements in air without the need for helium purge or vacuum.
